Why it's called that

How a Zoup works

  1. The host opens their home: they propose a meal, a date, a number of seats.
  2. Participants book: they're not customers, they're guests.
  3. Everyone contributes to the costs: equity, not commerce.
  4. You meet, eat, talk: the rest is done by the home.

Who participates

Hosts are people who love to cook and welcome. Guests are curious, travelers, neighbors, friends of friends. Everyone is a zouper.

Why it exists
